1. Yes - I used to co-own and run a web development shop back in the late nineties.  Oh the dotcom memories…
2. I was a big fan of something called “The Cluetrain Manifesto” - some say a fad back in those days…
In fact - I still am.
I was reading a [...]

Chaos and CollaborateSF

Written by: Steve Forde, March 31st, 2009

Back on the blog after a pretty psycho week at Photoshop World Boston.  Was a wicked cool show, and thanks to all who stopped by to say hello.
Just saw this - Comments on our website re-design and the “Chaos, Meet Order.” graphics.  Very cool.  It’s funny - we make a product for designers, and the [...]

For the first time in I can’t remember how long - we are not going to exhibit at NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) this April in Las Vegas.  The main reason - we are doing WAY more events than we used to.  We find the time and effort much better spent on smaller shows, seminars [...]

Great Video - from a photographer no less.

I was a guest on the taping of Photoshop User TV yesterday in Oldsmar, Florida when hosts Scott Kelby, Dave Cross and Matt Kloskowski started talking about this video posted on Scott’s blog by Zack Arias.
Wicked cool capture of emotion.  I think you can count us software folks in the same boat….

It’s with great pride that I can now say - you can download Flow Public Beta.  The only caveat - the windows version needs just a little more time.  We support OS X, XP and Vista.  We ran into an 11th hour issue that made it a requirement to hold back windows for just a [...]

Flow - for workgroups.

Written by: Steve Forde, February 9th, 2009

Yes.  There is no server to install or setup.  Flow runs on your workstation.
In the public beta (Feb 18), you will do this a little differently than in [...]

Written by: Steve Forde, February 5th, 2009

GridIron’s background is in motion graphics and visual FX.  We shipped 2 really successful products for After Effects users called Nucleo and Nucleo Pro (1 & 2).  NP did better for us as a vendor than we ever expected.
I want to pay credit where credit is due.  If you use NP background rendering - Thank [...]
