For the first time in I can’t remember how long - we are not going to exhibit at NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) this April in Las Vegas.  The main reason - we are doing WAY more events than we used to.  We find the time and effort much better spent on smaller shows, seminars and user groups than doing the big blast at NAB.  Frankly, big trade shows need to do a lot more convincing from my perspective to justify spending the money (it is INSANELY expensive).

Some folks are very good at getting together and putting on a very good show while not breaking the bank. Very good friends of ours band together in the Plugin Pavillion to collectively show off their products, and not get killed by the cost of NAB.  If you are going - I highly recommend checking out the Pavillion booth - its probably the only really good stuff at the show you may NOT already know about.

For us - we chose not to go at all and concentrate our efforts elsewhere.

If you are in the Boston area on March 25-27 - check us out at Photoshop World Boston.  The training sessions are killer, and the exhibits are not crazy like NAB.  For me personally - I find I learn a lot more, and a much better use of my time.

We are doing a lot with both NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals) and Mogo Media.  2 very cool organizations really focused on training and furthering the craft of creative professionals.
