GridIron Flow Released
By Dave Cross
June 29, 2009
Today GridIron Software announced the release of GridIron Flow, the first-of-its-kind visual workflow manager, previously available as a public beta. The shipping version includes several new features that were not in the public beta.
I was lucky enough to get a look at the shipping version and recorded this in-depth overview of Flow and in particular its great new feature for Creative Suite users, a Flash panel. I gotta say, I LOVE this application! It sits in the background - you don't do anything differently - and it's available when you need it. Among other things, it can restore Photoshop documents that have been flattened - say what? It's like insurance for my stupidity lack of careful planning.
Here's the overview video:
For full details on GridIron Flow, visit their web site. (The info should go live at noon EST in conjunction with the web event they're holding)
I'm currently finishing a short course that will be available soon on Kelby Training.
