Nucleo Pro gives motion504 more flexibility and time

motion504 is a broadcast design and animation studio, which specializes in the art of motion for film, TV, advertising and music. Clients include Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Women's Entertainment (We), and mega artist Beyonc® Knowles. The company recently created a stunning CG promo for Discovery Channel's new series, "Expedition Borneo.®

motion504 is built upon the idea of mutual collaboration among the three principals on each and every project from design, animation, 3D modeling, illustration and visual effects. Andy Reynolds, founder of motion504, is a die-hard fan of Nucleo Pro and has relied on the software since it came to market.

Making of an All CG Spot

"Expedition Borneo" is a show where the scientists are also survivalists who traverse the third largest island in the world via helicopter, canoes, and climbing. The promos had to capture the intensity, danger, and excitement of these experiences. This was achieved by creating a soft, surreal, live-action sequence that incorporated After Effects and 3D together.

One Program, Many More Capabilities

This 30-second spot for Discovery Channel consisting of multiple layers would have hit a major slow down in rendering pipeline if Nucleo Pro were not on board.
